Seven years ago Julie made a decision to throw herself into a world where few things are certain and you have to keep your wits about you. She dropped a successful career in academia to start her own business, the Cambridge Satchel Company. With just £600 to invest and no particular idea for a business - she did what any woman would do, made a good solid list - out of which, came the idea for the now, pretty much iconic, Cambridge Satchel.
